Historical posters at: 4th International Conference on Functional Mapping of the Human Brain

HISTNEUR-Lers:

In case you're in Montreal right after the ISHN meeting in Annapolis,
check out a couple of historical posters at:

FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
FUNCTIONAL MAPPING OF THE HUMAN BRAIN
June 7-12, 1998, Montreal, Canada

"The Conference will focus on the study of human functional
neuroanatomy in normal and pathological states using state-of-the-art
brain scanning technologies (PET, fMRI, SPECT, EEG, MEG, optical
imaging). The meeting is aimed at basic neuroscientists, information
scientists and physicians interested in the application of brain
"mapping" techniques."

The historical posters, which can be found at
,
include:

W.H. Feindel. "Cebrebral Cartography: the First 500 Years"

D.E. Millett. "Mapping the Functions of the Brain: Nineteenth Century
Style"

[Right now the on-line program lists only titles. If you are
interested, check back later to see if abstracts are available, or
contact the authors.]
