History of Neuroscience dealer catalogue announcements okay

I would like to encourage antiquarian book/mss/etc dealers to announce
their new lists/catalogues on HISTNEUR-L. In doing so, I urge
them to follow the same guidelines to which they adhere on the EXLIBRIS
listserv (this will keep the number of messages posted small yet
informative):

- Catalogue/list announcements only -- no buying/selling of individual
titles or posting of the catalogue/list itself (this should be done
off-list).

- Begin the body of your message with:

DO NOT USE YOUR E-MAIL "REPLY" FUNCTION TO RESPOND TO THIS
ANNOUNCEMENT. MAKE SURE ANY REPLY GOES TO [put your e-mail
address here] AND NOT TO THE ENTIRE LIST.

- Supply your e-mail address at the end of your message, too, along
with your name and snail-mail address. If you include a URL for your
homepage and/or on-line version of a catalogue, be sure to include
"http://" at the beginning of the URL; many "smart" e-mail systems will
let users double-click on fully-transcribed URLs and point their web
browsers right to that site. [I am also working on a list of dealers
and publishers for RETICULUM; send recommended URLs to me at:
rjohnson@library.ucla.edu]

Thanks for your cooperation,

Russell
