Call for Papers: ISIS

Isis, now under the editorial leadership of Bernard Lightman, of York
University in Toronto, is actively seeking original submissions.

Lightman and his fellow editors are working to preserve and enhance Isis's
reputation as the most prestigious forum for articles in the history of
science. Isis will continue to serve as a journal where scholars receive
high quality feedback on their work.

The Editors of Isis seek articles that will take the lead in shaping the
field through proactive discussion on emerging and provocative developments
in all areas of the history of science.

Since its inception in 1912, Isis has featured scholarly articles on the
history of science, medicine, and technology, and their cultural
influences. Review essays and book reviews on new publications in the field
are also included. An official publication of the History of Science
Society, it is the oldest (and most widely circulating) English-language
journal in the field.
