On Friday 23 April 2004 there will be a small conference on "Chemistry and Medicine in the Eighteenth 
Century" in Museum Boerhaave in Leiden, organised by the Historical Group within the Royal Society 
of Chemistry and the Chemiehistorische Groep of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Chemische Vereniging, 
together with the Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry, the Genootschap voor de 
Geschiedenis van Geneeskunde, Wiskunde, Natuurwetenschap en Techniek GeWiNa, and Museum 
Boerhaave.
