Ms. Ponte is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology, History, and Social Medicine and a student in the Medical School of the University of California, San Francisco. She is a visiting scholar in the Office of NIH History through the John J. Pisano Travel Grants Program. The public is welcome. This seminar will be held at the NIH in the Natcher Building (Building 45), Conference Room F1-F2. Ms. Ponte's talk is sponsored by the Office of NIH History and the National Institutes of Health's Biomedical Research History Interest Group (BRHIG).
