Ida Henrietta Hyde

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have exhausted my own
resources trying to work out when Henrietta Hyde first described the
microelectrode which she is credited with having invented. One source
gives this as 1921, which I feel to be too early, as the famous
experiments of Hodgkin and Huxley did not occur until the late 1930's
and on. Another source says she 'invented' the microelectrode in the
1930's, however by then she was almost 80 years old! Can anyone shed any
light on this?
