Re: Possible new JHN columns

Dear Stanley Finger,

I certainly would be interested in working on an "art and science" section.
In parallel to my main activites in neuropharmacology & drug development I
have been working for some years on scientific iconography and have taken
part in the organisation of four exhibits (on anatomy, the images of the
brain, Ramon y Cajal , and the relationship between art and science in the
past 2 centuries, see my enclosed short CV).
I am presently completing a book on the history of the "models" of the soul
(petite histoire de l'âme).

To give you an idea of my work I also join the draft of a short paper that I
am finalising on agalmophilia (I plan to submit it to a psychiatry journal,
but do not yet know which would be the best, and would appreciate
suggestions - an earlier french version has appeard in the "mélanges"
dedicated to a friend from the Basle Museum for his 8Oth anniversary).
Please feel free to contact me.

Best regards
Laura Bossi
