IEEE LIFE MEMBERS' PRIZE IN ELECTRICAL HISTORY, 2002
SOCIETY FOR THE HISTORY OF TECHNOLOGY

The IEEE Life Members' Prize in Electrical History was established by the IEEE
Life Members, who fund the prize, and is administered by the Society for the
History of Technology. The prize recognizes the best paper in electrical history
published during the previous year, in this case 2001. Any historical paper
published in a learned journal or magazine is eligible if it treats the art or
engineering aspects of electrotechnology and its practitioners.
Electrotechnology encompasses power, electronics, telecommunications, and
computer science. The prize consists of a cash award of $500 and a certificate.
The committee invites submissions for the 2002 prize which will be presented at
the Society's annual meeting in Toronto CANADA, October 17-20, 2002. Please send
a copy of the paper to EACH member of the prize committee by 1 May 2002.
