Goldberg KB, Goldberg RE.

and a PhD dissertation (Ron Melzack, adviser):

Charles Bonnet syndrome.

Bonnet's entry in _Dictionary of Scientific Biography_ (1970, v.2, p.
286-287) points to an autobiography, other theses, and correspondence
("His extraordinary imagination suggested projects that his poor
eyesight prevented him from carrying out; he treatd these projects in
numerous works, and above all he discussed them with his many
correspondents...") between Bonnett and Spallanzani, Fontana, Van
Swieten, etc. -- see citations to sorrespondences in NLM's
_Bibliography of the History of Medicine_.
