Ingrid Farreras, who will receive her Ph.D. in May from the University of New Hampshire in its History of Psychology program, will research the history of the Laboratory of Psychology in the National Institute of Mental Health, 1954-present. Dr. J. Rosser Matthews, currently on the faculty of the Department of the History of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, will undertake a project titled, "Birth Asphyxia and Cerebral Palsy: A Controversial Relationship on the Interface Between Science and Policy." As a part of his work, Dr. Matthews will examine research conducted in the intramural laboratories of the National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke.
