Electricity and Life: Galvani to Hodgkin

on Wednesday 14 March 2001

at the Royal Institution

This one day meeting, which is supported by the Wellcome Trust, will explore
the development of the relationship between electricity and life over the
past two centuries. The morning session will provide an historical overview
while the afternoon session will contain papers by some of the major
scientists (including Nobel prizewinners) who have worked on the subject
during the past fifty years recollecting their experiences.
