Prof. H.-P. Schmiedebach has written extensively on Waldeyer's neuron(e)
doctrine. You might contact him at the Institute for History of Medicine,
Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität, Friedrich-Loeffler-Straße 23 c, D-17487
Greifswald, Germany. He can probably help you as well with an english
translation of Waldeyer's "Forschungen". Unfortunately, I don't have his
e-mail account, but contact the hompage of the Greifswald' Institute.
