ISHN directory update

Dear ISHN members:

Thank you for promptly returning your completed ISHN Membership
Directory Personal Data Form during the past few months. The UCLA
Neuroscience History Archives is just a couple of weeks away from
printing the hardcopy directory for the ISHN! The Online Directory
has been available for several months and has proven quite useful,
judging from feedback we have received.

Please take a moment to proofread the online version of your directory
entry. This may be found by going to the Directory homepage/index at:

http://www.ishn.org/ishndir.htm

and selecting the letter which begins your last name. Note that some
data fields may be empty--this is because you either submitted nothing
to include in those fields or checked off the "do _not_ include" box
for the particular field(s).

Do not hit "reply"; instead, please send corrections to me at:

rjohnson@library.ucla.edu

If you are _not_ a member of the ISHN, you won't be listed in this
valuable resource. ISHN membership application + renewal forms are
available as printable PDF files at the society's homepage:

http://www.ishn.org

When you apply/renew using one of these forms, be sure to print,
copmplete, and return to me a "2001 Membership Directory - Personal
Data Sheet" (encourage your colleagues to join/renew, too!).

Finally--next Monday, 15 January, is the abstract submission deadline
for the ISHN's 6th Annual Meeting, to be held in Cologne, Germany.
Non-members may submit papers, but they will be charged more (DM 250
vs. DM 200) for the conference's registration fee. Membership has its
benefits, after all.

Cheers,

Russell Johnson
ISHN Secretary
