Today sees the launch of the report, Evaluation of the Wellcome 
Trust History of Medicine Programme, on the Trust's website:
http://www.wellcome.ac.uk/ .  This report details a recent review 
carried out by the Policy Unit, exploring the development and current 
status of the history of medicine in the UK, and considering the role 
of the Trust in this area.

As well as offering the option to read the executive summary or download the
whole report, the website also provides an opportunity to submit feedback on
the main issues raised in the review. This feedback will be used to help
inform decision making about the future direction of the Programme, building
on the many comments already provided by members of the history of medicine
community during the course of the evaluation.
