Hospital Records Database (UK)
Forwarded to HISTNEUR-L from CADUCEUS-L. Apparently one may search for initial/truncated portions of words as well as full keywords; for example, searching for "nerv" in the "Hospital Name" index retrieves 22 records for hospitals with "Nerve" or "Nervous" (in fact, the use of a wildcard such as "nerv*" or "nerv#" does not work). Look at any one of these records and be amazed at--and grateful for--the staggering compilation job the project team undertook!
