Phineas Gage 150th Anniversary

The Phineas Gage 150th Anniversary (1848-1998) commemoration will be held in Cavendish, Vermont, 12-13 September 1998, under the joint auspices of the Cavendish Chamber of Commerce, the Cavendish Historical Society, and the Cavendish Daughters of the American Revolution. Scheduled events include:

• Symposium on Gage (under the auspices of the World Federation of Neurology, International Society for the History of the Neurosciences, and School of Psychology, Deakin University, Victoria, Australia)
• Concert
• Popular lectures
• Historical exhibition
• Visits to Cavendish sites
• Commemorative plaque
