Call for Submissions: Guide To Archival Sources in Nursing

Forwarded to STHC-L (Science Technology and Health Care Archives Forum)
from CADUCEUS-L.

I'm cc:ing this to the sender (Elizabeth Caminas) and June Levy to
alert them to the existence of STHC-L (whose information sheet and
web archives can be found at
<http://www.medsch.ucla.edu/som/bri/archives/sthc/sthc.htm> ) and to
ask that one of them post information about getting copies of the
"Guide to Archival Sources in Nursing" when it is available. Will this
be strictly a printed/hardcopy guide, or will it also be online
and expand the AAHN's "Nursing History Centers and Archives" website,
<http://www.aahn.org/centers.html> ?

The Interagency Council on Information Resources for Nursing is still
in the process of preparing the second edition of the Guide to Archival
Sources in Nursing. We are including a bibliography of archival guides
published by agencies and institutions. If you know of any archival
guides/directories or have published one yourself, please let us know
so that we can include it in the bibliography. If you responded to an
earlier request from the Guide to Archival Sources in Nursing
committee, please update it for our files.

Thank you for your assistance with this project. Please respond to this
request no later than October 21, 1999. You can e-mail your response to
jlevy@cinahl.com or fax it to 818-546-5633 or send by regular mail.

Please let me know if you have questions about this request.

Sincerely,

June R. Levy, MLS
Vice-Chair
Guide to Archival Sources in Nursing Committee
