Reminder about Unsubscribing/Resubscribing

Just a friendly reminder from your STHC-L list administrator:

When you change e-mail addresses, please (if possible; sometimes 
you have no control over this, so don't worry) make an attempt from the 
_old_ address to unsubscribe from all the lists to which you belong 
(and then re-subscribe from the new address). Otherwise, each time 
someone posts something on the list, _everyone_ receives that posting 
_plus_ an automatic message from your old e-mail server noting that 
your e-mail address has changed.  This isn't problematic now, since our 
list has very little traffic, but it will be a nuisance when/if traffic 
picks up (or I go off on vacation and can't immediately unsubscribe 
your old address and add the new one to the list for y'all!).

How to do it: send a messages to   LISTPROC@library.ucla.edu
    
- to Unsubscribe:  UNSUB STHC-L

- to Resubscribe:  SUB STHC-L [yourfirstname yourlastname, affiliation]
         example:      SUB STHC-L Russell Johnson, UCLA
