Ivory anatomical manikin

We have an ivory anatomical manikin (about 8"), supposedly brought 
back from Europe in the mid-1800s.  I have been trying to place a 
value on it, but have had no luck in my search.  Do any of you have 
such a thing, and have you had it appraised or have other 
information about its value?
