Series and Grade: GS-1420-12    This is a full-time, permanent 
position.

Duty Location:  Bethesda, MD

This position is located in the Office of NIH History (ONH), 
and Stetten Museum, Office of Intramural Research (OIR), 
Office of the Director (OD), National Institutes of Health (NIH). 
The Office of NIH History and Stetten Museum maintain documentary 
and artifact collections relating to the history of the National 
Institutes of Health. These collections consist of more than 
30,000 prints and photographs, 2,000 instruments and artifacts, 
400 books, and 1,500 linear feet of documents and audiovisuals. 
The Office preserves papers, photographs, and audio-visual 
materials, while the Stetten Museum collects, preserves, and 
interprets biomedical research instruments and technologies 
related to the work of the NIH, and non-scientific objects which 
place the NIH in historical and cultural context. Museum 
exhibits seek to educate the public about the process of 
twentieth century biomedical research and about its achievements, 
generally focusing on the research of NIH investigators as case studies.
