Dear Felicia,

We are now preparing to implement EAD. We have purchased the software
(XMetaL) and have been through the EAD training in order to submit 
our finding aids to a consortia, the Northwest Digital Archives.

I was trained in DACS a year or so ago, and since, I have been writing 
all of our finding aids using the DACS format in preparation for the 
EAD implementation. 

I assume we will begin encoding in the next couple of months.
