There is indeed a moving image of Harvey Cushing. His 2000th brain tumor
operation was filmed in 1931. We and the Smithsonian have original reels of
the film. The film was later edited by a former disciple, Richard U. Light,
and is available in a video from the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons.
