[Previous Posting] [Next Posting] Academic Seeks Partner for Electronic Health Record Proposal
am a medical informatics researcher trained in archives to the master's level (thank you, University of Michigan). I'm currently doing funded work on the content and structure of the electronic medical record. The impact of HIPAA on my field has gotten me thinking about privacy-related implications for research in the future using *archived* medical records. So I'm wondering if there are practitioners out there who would be interested in partnering with me on an Electronic Records Fellowship proposal: http://ils.unc.edu/nhprcfellows/ The archival perspective would be very helpful to developers of these systems, and I think our two fields would have much to say to each other. If you are out there, I would love to hear from you (off-list)...
