Re: oncology related collections

Hello Jocelyn. Thanks for contacting me. Unfortunately I'm not exactly
sure what I'm looking for. I'm working on an exhibit for ASCO for their
annual meeting and am looking for to borrow artifacts for the display
cases or make reproductions of interesting images or documents. I'm
their first archivist and this area is new to me, I was the University
Archivist at Wake Forest University. The oncologist who has to approve
the exhibit isn't very accessible so it's been challenging for me to
determine what kind of cancer related artifacts I'm looking for. I will
be meeting with him soon and should have a better idea of what kind of
equipment an oncologist uses. Of course I'm interested in older pieces
but he may have another idea. I will put you in my address book of
possible sources if you don't mind. Thanks for your help. Lisa
