On Saturday October 16th, John Rylands University Library and the Centre for
the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, both of Manchester
University, will be jointly holding a day conference on Manchester Medicine,
in the Dental School building in Manchester.

The day will introduce the archive of materials from local medical
practitioners, innovators, and institutions, and the new online catalogue
for the archive, and will showcase some recent historical scholarship which
has drawn on the archive. There will also be a chance to discuss possible
research projects using the collection.
