Those of you not on the Archives & Archivists listserv may find this recently posted item of interest.
Obviously, this has been in the works for some time. At Mayo, according to the article, they've
been working on switching to electronic records for 11 years.
The question is, of course, whether any of these will be avaiable 50 or 100 years from now.
