Dear Mr. Cambrosio:

Bunji Tagawi was born 8 August 1904 in Tokyo, Japan. He was featured in 
our Fourth International Exhibition of Botanical Art and Illustration 
(1977-1978)and a portrait and brief biographical information are included 
in the exhibit catalogue on p. 111. (A Worlcat search indicates that 22 
libraries have a copy of this catalogue, or you can order it from our 
website, or I can send you a photocopy of the page). We also have a print 
of the portrait featured there. For information about ordering a print or 
digital image of that portrait, check the service charges page on our Web

We do not have a record of other published biographical sources, but we do 
have a signed biographical data sheet from him (most of that information is
