Hello:

Does anybody have any information concerning Bunji TAGAWA, a US
scientific illustrator? He illustrated many scientific books
(mushrooms, maps, etc.) but I am particularly interested in his work
for _Scientific American_ (as well as _Hospital Practice_) in the
1960s and 1970s, when he produced many fine illustrations of
antibodies and other immunological molecules and processes. I got in
touch with the former Editors of both journals but, unfortunately,
they have no longer any material related to Mr. Tagawa's work. One of
them told me to get in touch with his daughter who, he believed, had
maintained an archive of her father's work but, unfortunately, I
discovered that she passed away in 2002. I am looking for documents
(sketches, notes, correspondence) concerning the previously mentioned
illustrations but, at this point, any other information could be
potentially useful.
