Forwarded to STHC-L (The Science, Technology and Health Care Archives
Forum) from ARCHIVES. Could the presenters at the STHC Roundtable
presentation on HIPAA supply the websites they cited at the meeting
last month? In replying to the list, be sure to cc: the original
poster (DDahl216@AOL.COM), too.

Subject: HIPAA policies
Do any hospital archivists out there have an existing HIPAA policy for old
records that you can e-mail to me? I have patient register books, delivery,
laboratory, and surgical registers, and mortuary receipts. I need to
formulate a policy to comply with HIPAA by the end of the year. Thanks for
any help you can give.
