ADMINISTRATOR'S ADVISORY: Do not open attachments in STHC-L email

STHC-Lers:

Do not open the attachments of an email which was just sent from the
email account "TZANISH" -- it is infected with the
"Exploit-MIME.gen.exe" virus. In fact, it is wise to never open any
email attachments until you have run them through an updated antivirus
utility.

This list member did not intentionally send the virus-laden message,
but presumably everyone (including STHC-L) in her address automatically
received it.

Note that STHC-L now requires subscription attempts to be approved by
the list administrator (me), in an effort to prevent Spam attacks.
However, the email accounts of legitimate subscribers (tzanish, for
example), may still distribute viruses in attachments.

The best way to prevent your email account from distributing viruses
when the account is commandeered: don't keep listserv addresses in
your email system's online address book. Instead, keep them in a text
document on your computer or network drive, or bookmark the the
listserv's homepage for easy reference. For example, STHC's
information page may be found at:
