ATTENTION ARCHIVES AND MANUSCRIPTS STUDENTS!

Do you have plans to attend the SAA Annual Conference in Los Angeles this
summer? Would a little financial incentive help you decide? Consider putting
your name in the REGISTRATION FEE LOTTO hat!  The UCLA Student Chapter of
the Society of American Archivists is proud to announce that it will be
conducting a random drawing so that four out-of-state students will have
their student registration fees paid in full.

TO PARTICIPATE:

Please send us an email with the following information...

Subject line should read: REG FEE LOTTO

State in the body of your message: NAME, SCHOOL AFFILIATION, and RETURN
EMAIL

Send to: jholada@ucla.edu

RESTRICTIONS: You have to be a currently enrolled student from outside the
state of California. Please
participate only if you are serious about attending the conference.

DEADLINE: Sunday, JUNE 15

RANDOM DRAWING: Wednesday, JUNE 18 to honor the opening day of the first SAA
Annual Conference held in Washington D.C. back in 1937. Winners will be
announced shortly after the drawing.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PRIZE?
Winners will have their names placed on a list at the conference
registration/check-in desk. When you pick up your badge, simply give the
staff-member your name, show them your student I.D., and your
student registration will be waived. If you have already paid your
registration fee, let a staff-member know and you will get a reimbursement
check from SAA following the conference.

BEST OF LUCK!
UCLA Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists
