Job: Project Archivist -- Range Science Research (Montana State University, Bozeman)

Forwarded to STHC-L (Science, Technology and Health Care Archives
Forum) from ARCHIVES.

Kim Scott's first posting was quickly followed by a second posting
(included below) in which he corrected an amusing typo. Or corrected a
typo in an amusing manner. Typical of folks in Bozeman, a nice place
to visit (and in which to live, friends there tell me).

Dear Colleagues:

Sometimes typographical errors can be quite funny, as long as one has the
ability to laugh at oneself. In my job posting we described the opening as
"non-tenure track faulty level" when we obviously meant "faculty." Spell
checking, along with listservs, has allowed us to magnify our embarassing
moments beyond the wildest dreams of our ancestors.

Humbly submitted,

Kim Allen Scott
Special Collections Librarian
