I have not seen anything to that effect. However since the Deed of Gift
essentially transfers title irrevocably to the receiving archives,
records are not expected to be returned to all of the donors and/or
their descendants. These are now records available for research and
should continue to be. It would be pretty unmanageable to boot. Perhaps
a better solution would be to find another repository (or more than
one) that might be candidates to take in the collection or appropriate
parts of it.
