Dear Colleagues,
A friend of mine works for a magazine that is starting to put together
its October issue. They plan to feature 50 of the most powerful and
influential African-American and Caribbean women in America. She asked
me if I knew of any "Black women who are doing interesting things in
math and/or science." This includes those on the rise. Through your
work in the STHC communities, do you know of anyone who might be a
candidate for her list?
If you have any suggestions, please send them to me by Feb. 28, and
I'll forward them to her. Her magazine will do the research; she's
looking for names, fields, and any other information you can provide to
get them started.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Cheryl
