Welcome, and a tip of the hat to Lauren Kata for posting the 
announcement about her new appointment and a very useful description of 
her collection/repository.

Another initiative of the STHC Roundtable for the coming year will be 
the creation of an website, where we can gather descriptions of and 
links to such collections and participating individuals, repositories, 
and organizations.

In the meantime--please feel free to use STHC-L to make such 
announcements.  After all, the list's stated purpose is to provide "a 
forum for archivists working at institutions in the natural, physical, 
and social sciences, technology, and the health sciences. It includes 
announcements, inquiries, and discussion on access to historical 
sources and their use and interpretation."
