Responsibilities: Work with in-house and outside IT/Web, history,
education & museum professionals to manage the design and
implementation of a virtual museum of the history of electrical and
information technologies.
Requirements: Strong organizational/project management and
communication skills. Some combination of knowledge of the
Web, museums, history of technology, and/or pre-college education.
Bachelor's degree and two year's relevant experience; four year's
experience and/or master's degree preferred.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) the
world's largest technical professional organization, has an opening
for a project manager to oversee design and implementation of a
virtual museum of the history of electrical and information technologies.
Strong organizational/communication skills required, along with some
combination of knowledge/experience of the Web, museums, history
of technology +/or pre-college education. Minimum Bachelor's degree
and 2-year's relevant experience; 4-year's experience +/or Master's
degree preferred.
