Job: History and Archives Department, AAOHNSF (American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Foundation: Alexandria, VA)

Forwarded to STHC-L (Science, Technology and Health Care Archives
Forum) from CADUCEUS-L.

Decrypting the posting: "AAOHNSF" or "AAO-HNS/F" is the "American
Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Foundation", which
is related (I could not determine how from the website
<http://www.entnet.org> ) to "AAO-HNS", the "American Academy of
Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Inc."

Even if you're not applying for this position, you will be interested
to take a look at their very nicely executed "John Q. Adams Center for
the History of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery" virtual museum
site <http://www.entnet.org/museum/index.html> . Aha!--That's where
the Foundation is described <http://www.entnet.org/museum/museum5.html>
(this should be linked from the Site Map,
<http://www.entnet.org/site.html> ), and where one also learns that this
John Q. Adams is not the same as the 6th President of the U.S.
<<ttp://www.whitehouse.gov/WH/glimpse/presidents/html/ja6.html> .

I'm cc:ing this to the original poster, J Rozen, as a request to send
us an announcement when the position is filled so that the STHC
Roundtable of the Society of American Archivists can welcome this
colleague, too.
