Position Description

Our laboratory leverages the interaction between brain and periphery to understand the impact of diet and exercise on brain and body health.  We are working with models of traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease, peripheral dysfunction, and other disorders.  Our studies integrate cell metabolism, molecular biology, genomic, imaging, and behavior. Our goal is to provide solutions to complex neurological and metabolic disorders. These studies are significant on the context of the health risk posed by contemporary lifestyles on the current epidemic of metabolic and brain disorders.

Qualifications

The position requires a candidate with a Ph.D. and experience in molecular neurobiology, computer analysis, and behavior, and highly motivated for a research career.
